Short-Term Program
The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) offers short-term study opportunities for international students who want to experience Canadian education and culture for a shorter period of time. These programs provide a meaningful introduction to high school life in Ontario, Canada, while helping students strengthen their English skills and enjoy Canadian traditions.
Program Length Options
- 3 Months
Students study in an SCDSB school for one term, joining Canadian classmates and participating in daily classes and activities.
- 4 Months
Students enjoy a longer short-term experience, with more time to improve English, build friendships, and take part in school and community life.
Academic Opportunities
Short-term students are fully integrated into regular classrooms and supported by caring teachers. While these programs are non-credit, students will:
